We all know Ioana Milculescu from her shows with Subcarpati. Now it’s time to discover "Project IOANA". Sunday, July 23, at Electric Castle, Ioana will take on the mainstage accompanied by Valentin Mușat, Mircea Ardeleanu Jr., CJ Căpătan, Max K and Cuscrew, with Bean covering the production. It is a concept shaped at the third edition of glo Creative Camp, an immersive creative space where 19 artists from various musical spheres were tasked with the intriguing challenge of creating not just one, but two live shows, to be premiered at the Electric Castle.

Two shows for Electric Castle 2023 - this was the challenge glo Creative Camp 3 launched to 19 jazz, rock, pop, techno, folk and hip-hop musicians. Divided into two teams, they had one week each to write, produce, and plan a complete show for the festival. Cesar Merveille, the resident DJ in Berlin and founder of the production house Roche Madame was a mentor at glo Creative Camp and he'll tell us what to expect from these two premieres. Chris and Natasha from Soundopamine, Marius Gagiu (Mandela Gajol), Ion Dumitrescu and Horatiu Serbanescu from Future Nuggets, Maria Moraru and Suce Fraga were all part of Cesar’s team, whose show will be on the EC stage on Saturday, July 22nd.

Adrian Despot about Creative Camp: “During that week, it feels like you’re not on Earth, but in a utopian place”

Adrian Despot needs no introduction as an artist. As founder of the legendary Romanian alt-rock band Vița de Vie, he is also known for his constant support for Romanian artists. He was one of the mentors of The Voice, and he is both a radio and podcast host. Throughout his career, he tried to discover and help young talents. In the glo Creative Camp, Adrian Despot was the ‘Indie Rock’ week mentor. We talked with him about the experience, about Doru Stănculescu’s song Șambala and about whether there’ll be more world music influence on the new VdV record:
