General Terms

Welcome to the official website of Electric Castle (hereinafter referred to as the "Site"). The Site is owned and operated by Electricity Project SRL, VAT ID: 50360413, J12/3193/2024, located in Bonțida 156, jud. Cluj, 400371, România, legally represented by Mihai Alin Păun (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "us").

This document establishes the terms and conditions under which you are authorized to use the Site, any other subdomains and the mobile version (collectively referred to as the Site) or to interact with other technologies available on-site or on the web, such as WIFI available at the festival venue.

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Regarding how additional rules or regulations affect the use of the Site, these regulations are introduced by reference in these terms and conditions.

By using the Site, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, stop using the Site immediately.

Your right to access the Site is conditioned on confirming that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract and that you are not a person barred from accessing under the laws of Romania or any other country.

Description of service

When we talk about personal data, we refer to information that can clearly identify a living individual, such as the name and address from the identity card, residence address, phone number, email address. Identification must be made exclusively based on this information or in conjunction with other data in our possession.

Modifications and interruption to the Site

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Site with or without prior notice. We will not be liable if we choose to exercise this right. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge and accept that we do not guarantee continuous, secure, and uninterrupted access to our Site or that the Site's operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. You acknowledge that the use of the Site may be adversely affected by numerous factors or circumstances beyond our control, for which we are not responsible. Accessing the site is at your risk, assuming any damage that may occur through its use.

We commit to respecting all your rights regarding the processing of personal data, in accordance with EU Regulation No. 679/2016. For more information, please read the privacy policy in full.

Prohibited activities

You are not allowed to engage in any of the following actions in connection with the Site (including but not limited to posting or transmitting content through the site) and agree not to use the Site to:

  • violate or encourage the violation of any national or international legal act impersonate any person or legal entity or falsely represent affiliation with any person or legal entity
  • infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity or privacy, or any right of a party or distribute any content over which you do not legally have the right to make public, under contractual clauses or fiduciary responsibilities
  • interrupt or interfere with the security or use of the Site or any website or content related to it
  • attempt to use another person's account or create or use a false identity
  • use meta-tags or any other "hidden text" using the name, trademarks, or products of Electric Castle
  • attempt to reproduce, derive, or obtain the source code in any way, for any software used by the Site
  • engage in any activity that affects the ability of any third party to use or enjoy the services of the Site
  • assist any third party in engaging in any activity prohibited by these terms and conditions

Additionally, without our written consent, you will not be able to:

  • reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or commercially exploit any content belonging to Electric Castle or any Electric Castle, EC, or festival-related trademark
  • use any automatic, high volume, or electronic means (including but not limited to robots, crawlers, scripts, or other automatic mechanisms) to access, monitor, or copy the Site and its related content
  • add links to the Site, iframe-loads the Site, introduce pop-up windows, or any other content that affects the Site's interface

Copyright and trademark information

All content, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights related to the content, including but not limited to design, text, graphics, interface, selection, and arrangement thereof are owned by the Company, with all rights reserved. In some cases, content may be licensed by other companies. This content is protected by the intellectual property rights of the Company or its owners. All trademarks displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners, and do not constitute any endorsement or recommendation of these parties. Moreover, the use of these trademarks or links to other sites is not intended to directly or indirectly associate the respective third parties with the Company.

You understand and agree that any use of our content and our trademarks is strictly prohibited without our express and prior consent, and a violation of this clause will be sanctioned in accordance with the law in force, including the payment of damages in our favor.

Authorized use of the mobile application

Our mobile application is protected by copyright and cannot be sold, redistributed, copied, made public, or used as an integral part of your works without the express and prior consent of the Company. It is not permitted to attempt to reproduce, decompile, disassemble, or modify our mobile application in any way or to compromise the security of data stored or transmitted through the mobile application.

Authorized use of content

Any use of the content on the Site, including but not limited to reproduction for purposes other than those mentioned in this document, modification, distribution, replication, any form of data extraction and exploitation, or any other commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited without the express written authorization of an official representative of the Company. Except for search engines, you agree not to use any robot, crawler, automatic device, or manual process to monitor or copy our web pages or their content. You may use the Site's content exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes, with the exceptions described above. You may download or print a single copy of any portion of the Site exclusively for personal, non-commercial use, provided that the trademark, copyright, or any other notice related to the content is not removed. You may not use any content available on the Site owned by third parties without their express consent.

Mobile devices

If you access our Site through mobile devices, please be aware that standard rates of your mobile telephony company will apply, and the Company is not responsible in this respect and is not obliged to pay compensation.

Content complaints

If you believe that any content available on the Site contradicts these terms and conditions or is inappropriate, please report the respective content by sending an email to contact@electriccastle.ro.

Possible changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify, change, or update these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. We recommend that you regularly check this document to be aware of any changes. Changes will take effect immediately after being published on the Site, without prior notice. Continued use of the Site after posting the changes equates to acknowledgment and acceptance of the changes made, and you will not be able to make any amendments to these terms.
