These Rules & regulations apply to the 2026 edition of Electric Castle Festival.
Festival Dates: 16 - 19 July 2026
The organizer of the Festival is SC Electricity Project SRL., based in Cluj-Napoca, Piezișa Street no. 19, room 6, Cluj county, registered at ONRC, no. J12/3193/2024, VAT code 50360413, legally represented by Mr. Mihai Alin PAUN, e-mail: contact@electriccastle.ro.
These Rules and Regulations apply to the users of the website at the time of browsing the website, of purchasing the ticket to participate in the Festival, respectively to the participants from the moment of receiving the ticket of participation until the date of the Festival, as well as during the duration of the Festival.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the provisions of this Regulation unilaterally, without prior notification, they are immediately applicable from the moment of their publication on the website.
Participants can enter and leave the festival area as many times they want, as long as they have a valid RFID wristband.
Hours of the performances and events are subject to change. Participants cannot claim any damages in relation to such change.
All the participants must pass through a security check at the entrance, in the scope of ensuring the security and integrity of the participants. If they refuse, their access will be denied.
DEFINITIONS
Contactless MasterCard – material element, emitted by a bank or a certified institution, which constitutes a way of collection/payment of goods sold/purchased within the event venue, in conformity with the present TC.
RFID Wristband (RadioFrequency IDentification) – material element that constitutes a way for collection/payment of goods sold/purchased within the event venue.
RFID Wristband Top-up – the process by which participants will change the methods of payment from "cash" to the payment instrument "RFID Wristband” with which they can purchase products sold at the event.
RFID Wristband Money Refund – the inverse process of "RFID Wristband Top-up" and the process by which participants will exchange payment instrument "RFID Wristband" in payment method “cash”. The refunding process of the amount of money implies the initial process of RFID Wristband Top-Up.
The RFID Reader – the device used for the collection/payment of the goods. The amount of money topped up on the RFID Wristband is a multipurpose card voucher (MPV), according to the European Commission Legislation.
The amount loaded on the RFID Wristband is a multi-purpose voucher (MPV), as defined by European Commission legislation.
Festival area – the space marked off by the Organizer consisting of the courtyard surrounding the Banffy Castle and the inside of the Banffy Castle, situated in Bonţida village, Cluj County. In this area the access is allowed only for participants who possess a valid ticket or invite for Electric Castle 2026. This does not include the camping area.
Camping area – the space represented by the accommodation area offered by the Organizer, near the festival territory. Access to this space is permitted for participants who have a valid camping pass for the Electric Castle 2026 event. It does not include the festival area.
Indoor area – any area with a roof or ceiling, separated by at least two walls, no matter their structure or nature, temporary or permanent.
Outdoor area – any area which is not considered indoor.

This list is not exhaustive, the Organizer having the right to deny access to the festival to the extent that the object owned by the participant could endanger the safety of other participants or present a danger to the safe conduct of the event.
Products purchased from the store inside the festival are allowed in the camping area based on proof of product transaction. In the case of beverages, they must remain sealed.
I. GENERAL RULES
1. The present Rules and regulations will also be called Terms and Conditions (“TC”) and will apply in regard to the Electric Castle Festival organized by SC Electricity Project SRL (the Organizer) in the designated area in Bonțida, Cluj County (the Location).
2. The present TC contains the rules that each participant has to respect in relation to the organizer and the other participants of the Festival.
3. The TC can be accessed at https://www.electriccastle.com/terms-and-conditions and will be available at the festival entrance.
4. The Organizer has the right to modify the TC whenever, without a preliminary notice of the Participant. Any modification will be displayed on the Organizer’s website www.electriccastle.com and/or at the festival entrance. The modification is of immediate application starting with the moment of publication.
5. By purchasing the ticket, entering the Festival or by creating an account on the electriccastle.com website, the Participant declares that he/she read, understood and obliged himself/herself to respect this TC.
II. TYPES OF TICKETS AND PURCHASING THEM
1. TYPES OF TICKETS
1.1. The tickets can be purchased exclusively online from www.electriccastle.com or from our partners websites, according to the terms of chapter III.2.
1.2. The Organizer reserves its right to modify the price of the ticket without preliminary notice.
1.3. The participants can choose between multiple types of tickets:
- General Access Pass (festival pass for the whole festival period, without camping)
- General Access Pass + insurance by Eurolife (festival pass for the whole festival period, without camping)
- Youth Pass U25 (festival pass for the whole festival period, without camping)
- VIP Pass (festival pass for the whole festival period, without camping)
- VIP Pass+ insurance by Eurolife (festival pass for the whole festival period, without camping)
- ULTRA VIP Pass (festival pass for the whole festival period, without camping)
- Camping Pass (camping pass for whole festival period)
General Access Pass – This ticket offers access in the festival area, excluding the camping areas. The participants can attend the event for the whole event period, except for the Premium area or other special access perimeters.
General Access Pass + insurance by Eurolife – This ticket offers access in the festival area, excluding the camping and premium areas or other special access perimeters. The participants can attend the event for the whole event period. The Eurolife regulations can be consulted here.
Premium Pass – This ticket offers access in the festival area and in the Premium area, mentioned on the festival map for the whole event period. Does not include camping.
Premium Pass + insurance by Eurolife – This ticket offers access in the festival area and in the Premium area, mentioned on the festival map for the whole event period. Does not include camping. The Eurolife regulations can be consulted here.
Camping Pass – This ticket offers access in the camping area, open between July 15–19. Does not include access inside the festival area.
* Participants interested in purchasing tickets for Electric Castle have the option to register to be notified when the next batch of tickets becomes available. Registration is done by completing the dedicated form on electriccastle.ro/tickets, where users provide their first name, last name, email address, and phone number. By filling out the form, users consent to receiving email and SMS notifications regarding ticket availability for Electric Castle. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Participants who purchase such tickets declare that they comply with the stipulated age conditions and agree that they will not be given access to the Festival if at ticket validation it is found that they do not meet the conditions. Costs of festival passes and facilities can be found at electriccastle.ro/tickets.
Participants have the option to purchase Camping Passes and tickets for several types of accommodation structures that are announced on electriccastle.ro/tickets.

! The cost of the facilities can be paid exclusively at the time of making the reservation on the website, for the entire period of the festival. For exchanging RON for Electric Castle products, the conversion rate is 1 EUR = 5.10 RON.
* In addition, as part of the "Bonțida Fever" campaign held in the summer of 2023, the Organizer offered free Lifetime Pass tickets to participants who had a permanent black "Bonțida Fever" tattoo and communicated its proof to the Organizer until 26.06.2023. Henna tattoos, semi-permanent tattoos, stickers or any temporary drawings/graphics/paintings are not accepted. To the extent that the Organizer has a reasonable suspicion that the beneficiaries of the Lifetime Pass tickets have defrauded/not respected the previously presented eligibility conditions, in order to obtain the tickets in bad faith, the Organizer reserves the right to ask the beneficiaries, for access to the Festival and/or at the time of picking up the RFID wristband, presenting a current proof of the "Bonțida Fever" permanent tattoo. To the extent that the ticket holders refuse to present proof, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the ticket with immediate effect (including for future editions), being denied access to the Festival based on the Lifetime Pass ticket. Lifetime Pass participants can upgrade to Premium Access by paying the upgrade amount for the final price of the festival tickets, displayed on the electriccastle.ro website.
1.4. Children under the age of 7 or including, have free access for the whole festival period, with the condition of being accompanied by their parents/guardians that own a valid pass/ticket.
1.5 – Access of people with disabilities to the Electric Castle festival
1.5.1. People with disabilities classified under a degree of disability, as well as their companions, benefit from the following facilities, within the limit of 200 subscriptions for the 4 days of the festival (a limit imposed considering the total capacity of the Festival, the capacity of the accessible areas, as well as safety and security regulations):

Children (minors under 18 years of age) with disabilities, regardless of the degree of disability (severe, accentuated, medium, or mild), and one companion – benefit free of charge from a subscription for the 4 days of the festival of the General Access Pass type (without camping).

Adults with severe or accentuated disabilities and one companion – benefit free of charge from a subscription for the 4 days of the festival of the General Access Pass type (without camping).
Considering that these facilities can only be granted within the limit of a maximum number of 200 places, taking into account the total capacity of the Festival, the capacity of the accessible areas, as well as safety and security regulations, free access will be granted based on the order in which requests are received.
If the number of 200 requests that meet the conditions specified in these Regulations is reached, the Organizer will indicate in these Regulations that the maximum number of subscriptions granted free of charge to people with disabilities has been reached, and from that moment on, the Organizer will no longer respond to requests addressed for this purpose.
1.5.2. Adults with medium or mild disabilities benefit from a 50% discount on the price of the General Access Pass (without camping). The companion of an adult with a medium or mild disability pays the full price. By exception, if the need for a companion has been established by an evaluation commission and can be proven by a document issued by a competent authority or has been recorded in the disability degree certificate, the companion of an adult with a medium or mild disability will also benefit from the same discount as the adult with a medium or mild disability whom they accompany.
1.5.3. Conditions for granting the facilities mentioned in points 1.5.1 and 1.5.2:
The facilities are granted based on the following valid documents, presented for verification:

1.5.4. Procedure for granting the facilities mentioned in points 1.5.1 and 1.5.2:

In order to benefit from the facilities mentioned in points 1.5.1 – 1.5.2, adults with disabilities (or, in the case of minors, their legal representatives) must submit a request expressing their desire to participate in the festival and provide proof of fulfillment of the conditions provided in points 1.5.1 – 1.5.3. Requests must be submitted by completing an online form available here, exclusively until 1 June 2026. All requests submitted after 1 June 2026 will not be taken into consideration.

Free or discounted subscriptions are issued only after verification of the documents indicated in point 1.5.3 and subject to fulfillment of the conditions provided in points 1.5.1 – 1.5.3.

The Organizers reserve the right to refuse access in case of presentation of invalid documents or attempts at fraud.
1.5.5. People classified under a severe or accentuated degree of disability undertake the obligation to always attend the Festival accompanied, for reasons of personal safety.

1.5.6. For people with disabilities classified under a degree of disability and their companions, the Organizer will ensure reserved parking spaces, marked with the international symbol, within a minimum limit of 4% of the total parking spaces (but no fewer than 2 spaces).
People with disabilities classified under a degree of disability who hold a parking card for free parking issued under the conditions of Law no. 448/2006 regarding the protection and promotion of the rights of people with disabilities will benefit from free parking, within the limit of available parking spaces.
The parking card must be displayed on the front of the vehicle transporting the person with a disability, so that the front of the card is visible for verification.
1.6. The Organizer will not be held responsible for any incident or accident involving minors or persons with disabilities. All responsibility for them rests with minors/persons with disabilities and/or parents/legal representative or companion. The Organizer draws the attention of parents/legal representatives or persons exercising parental authority to the fact that they have the obligation to supervise the minor and will be held liable for any damage resulting from failure to comply with this obligation.
1.7. The organizer only guarantees for the validity of the tickets that were purchased from Electric Castle or from its authorized partners.

IMPORTANT!
1.9. Tickets can only be sold by participants exclusively using the Exchange Platform. It is strictly forbidden to sell invites by any means, online or offline. Failure to comply with these provisions will result in the cancellation of the marketed tickets and banning the access to the festival of the persons involved.
1.10. Changing the information of the tickets can be done only by using the Exchange Platform. You can fill in the details for free only once during the first 7 days after purchase. Afterwards, changing the information of the bought tickets can be done in the conditions mentioned at art. III.3.
1.11. Posting the unique series number of the tickets or redeem codes on social media or other websites (e.g Facebook) is strictly prohibited.
1.12. Posting announcements about selling/donating/exchanging tickets on social media, other websites or public spaces is strictly prohibited.
1.13. If the Organizer will identify any counterfeit/forged tickets/invites/wristbands, it will inform the police.
1.14. Purchased tickets cannot be replaced and their countervalue cannot be refunded by any other means except using the Exchange Platform, according to art III.3.
1.15. Purchased tickets are exclusively for personal use. As an exception, purchased tickets can be used commercially, for promo campaigns, giveaways, and contests only with the prior written consent of the Organizer. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of the tickets used for commercial purposes and the persons responsible will be held accountable for the damage created.
1.16. In the case of Redeem Codes, their holder, respectively the person who received the redeem code, is solely responsible for its storage and use, regardless of receiving it from Electric Castle or other partners. The loss of the code or deletion of the confirmation email can lead to the impossibility of use, and all damages resulting from this circumstance remain the responsibility of the holder. Electric Castle does not guarantee and is not responsible for the loss of code and the impossibility of recovering or using it. The invites are divided in three: Corporate Pass, Partner Pass and Guest Pass. A mandatory donation for the Banffy Castle is charged for the Guest Pass.
2. PURCHASING TICKETS
2.1. Tickets can be purchased exclusively online, using the website www.electriccastle.com, our partners’ websites or by using Electric Castle mobile app (available for iOS and Android, using the online payment system iPay. The tickets can be purchased only by credit/debit card and the ticket will be issued only after the payment will be confirmed by iPay. Afterwards, the participants will receive the ticket in electronic format, in their account on the Website. The tickets are nominal. A buyer can buy up to 6 tickets per account, indicating the name of the beneficiary of each ticket. The buyer can fill in the details for free only once during the first 7 days after purchase. After 7 days the identification data can be changed for a fee only through the Exchange Platform that can be found at www.electriccastle.com
Tickets purchased on www.electriccastle.com have a unique code assigned at the time of purchase. Selling the ticket or changing the data through the Exchange Platform will invalidate the ticket and a new unique ticket code will be generated.
2.1.1. Personalization Fee Calendar
Participants can personalize their tickets only once for free, within the first 7 days after purchasing them. After this period, the personalization can still be done, but a fee will apply as follows:
Until May 31 2026: €30
June and July 2026: €50
2.2. The purchasing of tickets from the authorized partners will be made according to their terms and conditions. Authorized partners are entitled to charge a management commission, which shall be added to the normal price of the ticket.
2.3. Certain EC Partners offer discount-vouchers or group discounts that can be validated in an online account, created on www.electriccastle.com in the Redeem Code section, according to the terms and conditions and the date of validity, written on the vouchers.
3. THE EXCHANGE PLATFORM
For unforeseen situations, when the owner of the ticket cannot attend the Festival and the name written on the ticket cannot be changed, the owner can use the Exchange Platform to transfer the ticket.
A processing fee of 30 EUR will apply for requests submitted until May 31, and 50 EUR for those submitted after this date.
FULL DETAILS REGARDING THE STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN MARCH 2026.
III. EVENT PARTICIPATION
1. FESTIVAL ACCESS
1.1. Access to the Festival will be granted at the date and hour announced by the Organizer.
1.2. All participants will be searched at the entry, with the purpose of ensuring their compliance with the Rules and Regulations, as well as to ensure the safety of the participants and proper conduct during the Festival. If a participant refuses to comply with the search, the Organizer reserves its right to deny access to that participant and he will be solely responsible for any damage suffered.
1.3. Access to the festival will be granted only to those participants who possess a valid wristband offered by the Organizer at the entrance, after presenting the ticket/invite. Only a wristband worn on hand, intact, will ensure the right to enter the festival area. The Organizer reserves its right (through his collaborators) to verify the wristbands whenever it considers it necessary, at the festival entry or inside the Location. Maintaining the integrity of the wristband is exclusively the obligation of the participant and the participant is the only one responsible for losing, damaging or destroying the wristband.
1.4. In case the wristband is damaged or lost, the participant has to access his/her electriccastle.com account and ask for a new wristband, on which the money deposit will be transferred if the data from the account is valid. The cost for changing or getting a new wristband will be €50.
1.5. Participants are required to notify the Organizer of any defect of the wristband at the time of receipt and request the replacement or repair of the wristband immediately. Failure to comply with this obligation discharges the Organizer of any liability for the wristbands integrity and the participant loses the right to request its replacement.
1.6. Entering/exiting the Festival can only be done through specially designed areas. Entering the Festival can only be made after passing a security check and validating the wristband.
1.7. All event participants must be able to present a valid ID, for the purpose of verifying the ticket validity.
1.8. If, as a result of the checks performed at the entrance, the Organizer identifies objects which do not comply with the provisions of the Rules and regulations, those objects will be seized and will not be returned. Participants have the right to return from checking-point and leave their respective objects outside the festival territory (eg: car, hotel etc.) or dispose of them at the designated dumpsters. The illegal objects or illegally possessed objects will be seized.
1.9. If illegal items (ex. drugs, narcotics) or illegally obtained items (ex. firearms with no permit) are identified, the Organizer will notify the authorities and the necessary measures will be taken. In the event that the search reveals legally obtained weapons, access will not be allowed as it is against the official Rules and Regulations. We reserve the right to deny access in the festival to said persons and to have them immediately evacuated from the perimeter.
1.10. Access of minors under the age of 16 will be granted if they are accompanied by a parent or a person that exerts parental authority, who has signed an express statement in which they assume the responsibility and obligation of supervising the minor. The statement for children up to 7 years old will be available soon. The statement for children between 8 and 15 years old will be available soon. A parent or a person who exerts parental authority can accompany 3 minors at most.
1.11. Access of minors between the age of 16 and 18, will be granted if they can present a statement from their parents or legal guardians allowing their participation. The statement will be available soon. The Organizer will not be held liable in case any statement is fraudulently submitted. The persons filing the statement are fully responsible for the authenticity of the data and signature from the statement.
1.12. All minors will receive a special access wristband, which will not allow access to indoor areas assimilated to nightclubs and they will not be able to buy alcohol or tobacco. In any event, the Organizer will not be held responsible for any incident or accident involving minors. The minor and/or the parents/person who exercises parental authority are solely responsible for any damage caused by the minor during the Festival. The organizer draws the attention of parents / persons exercising parental authority to the fact that they are under the obligation to supervise the juvenile and will be held responsible for any damage resulting from not complying with this obligation.
1.13. Access to the festival with psychotropic and narcotic substances, as provided by Law 339/2005 (including medicines containing such substances) is strictly prohibited. The possession for medical purposes of drugs containing psychotropic and narcotic substances is exempted, only if they are accompanied by a medical prescription. Consequently, the participants must have the medical prescription on them, respectively they are recommended not to carry more drugs containing psychotropic and narcotic substances than prescribed by the medical prescription. In case of suspicion of participants possessing substances that, at first glance, could be classified as psychotropic and narcotic substances, the Organizer has the right to notify the competent authorities in order to verify the medical prescription.
As for drugs that do not contain psychotropic and narcotic substances, there is no limit, but it is recommended to bring a number of drugs to cover only the period of the event.
We will have first-aid points at the festival. The medical staff and our volunteers are ready to respond to any medical emergency that may occur during the festival. The organizer is not responsible for how these services are provided.
1.14. The Organizer does not give any guarantee regarding the duration of the access process in the Festival, considering the large number of participants. The Organizer recommends that participants come to the Festival at least a few hours before the concert they wish to attend.
1.15. The Organizer does not give any guarantee regarding the possibility of entering the Festival at the desired time or regarding the possibility of attending the desired concert on time or regarding the quality of the entertainment, and explicitly excludes the reimbursement of the Ticket price to the participant, the granting a subsequent discount/voucher or payment of damages, compensation or compensation of any kind to the Participant.
1.16. The Organizer does not give any guarantee in relation to the possibility of the participants to have access to the parking lot, given the large number of participants and the limited number of parking spaces. The Organizer has no responsibility for any damages or losses suffered by vehicles in the parking areas, regardless of the cause (collisions, acts of vandalism, weather conditions, etc.).
2. FESTIVAL RULES
2.1. Upon entry on the festival grounds, the participant shall take notice of the present Regulation, displayed in a visible place.
2.2. Participants can’t bring alcohol, food or other liquids of any kind into the festival.
2.3. Participants may only enter the Festival at their own risk. The participants declare that they are physically and mentally fit to attend. Persons with mental or physical affections, for whom crowded areas, loud noises, special sound effects, visual and audio effects are a factor of risk, assume full responsibility for the damage they may suffer by participating.
! The Organizer draws attention to the participants that some performances can include powerful light effects that could harm children or epileptics. The Organizer informs the participants that during the event there will be firework shows that pose risk of injury or material damage, for which the Organizer takes no responsibility. Only the persons who own or operate the equipment can be held liable for any damages caused.
2.4. In order to use the playgrounds, fun and sports areas, swings, trampolines, swimming pools and other such areas which present risk of injury, the participants will make sure that they have the physical and mental condition required.
2.5. It is prohibited to enter the Event grounds by car without a valid car pass issued by the Organizer. The Organizer advises the Participant to use the public transportation or taxi services to get to the Festival grounds.
2.6. The Organizer will announce the timetable of the concerts in due time. The timetable may be subject to changes, for independent reasons or by the will of the Organizer, without any preliminary notice of the participants and without being able to claim repair of any such prejudice suffered.
2.7. The Organizer informs all participants that in case of extreme weather conditions such as thunderstorms, windstorm, ice storm the exit points of the festival and the public transportation can get crowded. We urge everyone in such situations to remain calm and follow the instructions of the Organizer’s representatives or public servants. Furthermore, in such weather conditions, the Organizer has the right to postpone, suspend or cancel the Festival in part/in full, without mandatory notification to the participants and without them being able to request compensation for any damage thus suffered.
2.8. The Organizer points out to the participants that public transport (buses, train, car-sharing, etc.) is not provided by the Organizer, and the latter is not responsible for any possible damages suffered due to the transport operators. Also, the Organizer does not give any guarantee regarding the possibility of the participants to use public transport at the desired time and explicitly excludes the refund of the Ticket price to the participant, the granting of a subsequent discount/voucher or the payment of damages, compensations or compensation of any kind to the participant, a fact expressly assumed by the participant by purchasing the Ticket.
3. RULES OF CONDUCT INSIDE THE FESTIVAL
3.1. All participants must comply with the social, legal, and statutory rules set out in this TC. Participants are not allowed to carry out any activities that could endanger or otherwise affect the safety or the rights of other participants. The Organizer does not have any liability for any material or physical damage caused as a result of non-compliance with the Regulation and will be able to claim compensation from those culpable of violating it.
3.2. Trafficking or drug consumption is illegal, strictly prohibited and will be punished according to the applicable laws. If any illegal substances will be found in your possession, you will be escorted outside the festival premises and your wristband will be confiscated.
3.3. Participants are required to respect and not to destroy the surrounding environment and the Banffy Castle area, including any kind of constructions or/and natural areas.
3.4. During the festival, the Organizer, the Organizer's partners or the accredited press have the right to record and photograph the event. Participants are aware of the possibility of appearing in such materials without being able to claim rights regarding the respective materials. The organizer has the right to use these materials, to publish them on websites or various channels (ex Youtube, Facebook, Instagram etc.) and to use them in advertising campaigns without compensating in any way the participant. The festival is filmed, including aerial filming with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
3.5. Participants have the right to film and photograph the areas they have access to, but may use the material exclusively for personal purposes, non-commercial. Participants are allowed to post videos and photos online, only to the extent to which it does not affect the rights of other participants or the rights of the Organizer. Participants will also acknowledge that for certain activities / shows / concerts, the Organizer may restrict or prohibit filming and / or photographing, at the request of the artists management, in which case they will announce these situations on the Facebook page and/or on the official website, SMS, Electric Castle APP, directly through event coordinators etc. In case of non-compliance with this obligation, the Organizer will require the participant to cease the unauthorized activity and/or delete the public posts/recordings, having full liability for such damages.
! It is strictly forbidden to fly drones over the festival or to install and/or use professional film equipment.
3.6. Participants acknowledge that any commercial or advertising activities, as well as promoting products, services, activities, ideas, cultural or political movements, are prohibited in the Festival, without the written prior consent of the Organizer.
3.7. It is prohibited to serve alcohol to Participants under the age of 18 (eighteen) inside the area of the Event.
3.8. If any minor under the age of 16 is found unattended, the Organizer will notify the authorities.
3.9. It is forbidden to use fire, by any means (fireplace heating, atmosphere or any other open fire method, fireworks) and flammable materials throughout the Festival or in the vicinity of the Festival, including in the camping area.
3.10. Swimming in the lake within the festival is forbidden and extremely dangerous.
3.11. Access to the castle and all its annexes, except for those specially arranged for the Festival, is prohibited and extremely dangerous.
4. LOST & FOUND
4.1. All lost items must be brought to the lost and found area (that will be marked on the festival map). Their rightful owners can get them back by following a procedure put in place by the Organizer to identify the item and the owner. The Organizer will hold on to the items for a maximum of 10 days from the moment the item is received at Lost and Found and will try to return the item to the rightful owner.
4.2. In the case the rightful owner is not identified or the owner does not show up, the item will be handed over to the authorities.
4.3. In the case of perishable items or items with a fast deterioration, the 10-day-deadline could be reduced with no prior notification.
5. SECURITY AND FIRST AID
5.1. Across the Festival, the Organizer ensures security through a qualified and accredited partner. During the event the participants are obliged to respect the security personnel, to collaborate with them and to respect their instructions in case of emergency.
5.2. In case of a violent incident or in case of endangering other persons, the security staff has the right to decide to evacuate the persons involved from the perimeter in which the event is taking place.
5.3. Across the Festival, there are first-aid areas signaled and shown on the map, in case of need, where qualified persons will be on duty.
6. PAYMENT FOR THE SERVICES AND THE PRODUCTS
6.1. The payment methods accepted for purchases through the Festivals are those provided by the Organizer and its partners. As a general rule, the payment of the services and products inside the event will be done using the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Wristband, but some vendors can accept cash or card payment.
6.2 The RFID Wristband Top-Up can be made online on the cashless page or right on spot paying either Cash or Card at any of the Top-Up points. The participant can only topup multiple of 10 LEI.
6.3. Across the Festival, RFID Top-Up points can be used in the places that are specially signaled. The Top-Up of the RFID Wristband entitles its holder to obtain products and services available in the event perimeter.
6.4. Unused funds from the RFID Wristband can be exchanged for cash immediately after top-up through the process called RFID Wristband Money Refund. The process is of two different kinds:
Cash refunds of the remaining balance on the wristband, requested at the festival cash desks, are subject to a 3% processing fee. This fee will be deducted from the refunded amount and applies regardless of the method used to load funds onto the wristband.
Refunds requested after the festival has ended, online via bank transfer, are not subject to this processing fee and the form must be completed until 6th of August.
By requesting a refund during the festival, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the application of this processing fee..
6.5. Any unredeemed amounts, after the deadline for manually withdrawal from the Top-up Points or for filling the online form has passed, will become the property of the Organizer.
6.6. During the event, bar and food court products and services are available in specially designed places and can only be purchased with the RFID Bracelet. All traders will be required to charge the value of the sold goods exclusively with the RFID Wristband.
The fiscal receipt will only be granted upon the purchase of products within the festival premises.
For loading funds at the top-up points, participants will not receive a fiscal receipt. These transactions will be carried out solely for the purpose of crediting the payment account within the festival.
A replacement fee of €50 applies to any request to exchange your wristband at Electric Castle.
IV. WARRANTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The Organizer guarantees access and service usage throughout the Festival to every participant that owns a valid wristband.
2. The dates of the festival can be modified unilaterally in a force majeure of fortuitous cases. The festival dates will not be changed in the case of minor weather conditions (rainfall, cloudy days, etc.) The intervention of administrative measures, official recommendations and / or the entry into force of legal norms from national or local authorities that make it impossible or excessively onerous to carry out the Festival under the conditions envisaged by the Organizer are assimilated to cases of force majeure.
3. In case of war, revolt, terrorist attack, demonstrations, economic embargo, accident, fire, natural disasters, earthquakes, flood, major short circuit, epidemics, official resolutions or other instances that cannot be foreseen or cannot be controlled by the Organizer or the participant, neither party is bound to comply with the obligations of this Regulation.
4. The Organizer reserves its right to change the timetable of the Festival as well as the line-up, when there is a justifiable cause in its opinion (eg: weather circumstances, safety, artist cancellations or lateness). Participants are not entitled to claim damages for such change nor to receive a refund for their tickets. However, the Organizer may decide, in certain situations, to give a partial or full refund for some tickets. The ticketing system fee is not refundable. The installments fees are not refundable.
5. The Organizer does not assume responsibility for damages occurring in the perimeter of the festival, that was not caused by mal intent or negligence on its behalf or which were caused by severe meteorological events.
6. After the participant has received the wristband, the Organizer is no longer responsible for its integrity. The participant is not entitled to claim damages due to its loss or destruction.
7. The Organizer is not responsible for any events taking place outside the festival perimeter.
8. Participants will be held liable for any and all damages caused to the Organizer, its collaborators or third parties, by not complying with the legal provisions or the provisions of these Rules and Regulations.
9. The Organizer has the right, with immediate effect, to ban the access or ask the participant to leave the festival area in case of violation of the present Rules and Regulations or of an applicable legal provision.
10. The Organizer does not provide guarantees of any kind regarding the fact that the Website will function uninterrupted, secure and without errors of any kind. The website can be interrupted by the owner or administrators at any time, without any prior notice and without any claim of any kind from its users.
V. IP RIGHTS
1. The Organizer owns all intellectual property rights over trade names, logos, e-mail addresses, domain names or URLs, signs used in correspondence, database, graphics, e-mail, business cards and other materials, signs, logos, trademarks as well as materials, texts and all information, no matter if they are registered or not, used on electriccastle.com or other online channels/platforms related to the Electric Castle event. The above may not be copied, used or distributed for commercial purposes without the specific consent of the Organizer.
2. All artworks realized by the collaborators and/or by its employees within the festival, such as photographs, videos, texts, graphic elements etc. are the property of the Organizer and are protected by domestic and international legislation.
VI. DISPUTES
1. Any conflict arising between the Organizer and Users and/or Participants as a result of participation in the Festival, the purchase of participation tickets or the use of the Website will be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the resolution of conflicts is the competence of the Romanian courts in Cluj-Napoca.
2. The applicable law is Romanian law.
VII. FINAL PROVISIONS
1. These Regulations, representing the Contract between the consumer and the Organizer, can be assigned by the latter without the client's consent being required.
2. Chapter names and subheadings are for reference only and should not be taken into account in the interpretation or construction of these Regulations.
3. In the case of declaring any of the clauses of these Regulations null or unenforceable, the rest of the clauses will continue to produce their effects, and the clause declared null or unenforceable will be replaced by a new clause that reflects the will of the Organizer as closely as possible.
