Creative Camp

Second week at glo Creative Camp. Carried away by music

glo Creative Camp is a project meant to connect young talents with experienced musicians and create a context that enhances their creativity. This year, the camp covers 3 weekly modules, each of them with new artists, new mentors and new music styles. What stays the same is the rebellious cause: creating a remix of an oldie & goldie song.

After a week of hop-hop rhythms, we started a new musical adventure, with a new group of artists.

A new team.

Working hard, playing harder.

Fully prepared to let creativity take shape, the artists did not waste a single moment. From the first day, they let the creativity flow and started to compose. The meticulous work was intertwined with passion, which made the whole process go flawless. Full of energy and with a burning desire for creation, the artists put together several songs.

I came with a good vibe, ready to compose music, as I start every camp. For me, the camps, the different places where we go to create music, are great because they give me a new vibe. -Cezar Gună

The daily jam sessions were a playground where the artists had a lot of fun on every occasion.

The strong connection between artists and music was the catalyst for creativity.

I discovered and got to know myself through music. With every song, I find a new piece of me. Something that I didn’t know about myself. -Iraida

Music rules.

One of the key ingredients of art is freedom, the lack of barriers. We started the week with disco rhythms in our minds for artists to shape, but as the music was getting shape, the accents shifted to a different musical style.

Feeling the music.

While listening to the background music, Inna felt that the lyrics of the song “Lalele” fit perfectly, so she let herself be carried away by the music. The song "Lalele", composed by Temistocle Popa and performed by Luigi Ionescu was on everyone's lips in the '70s. The hit regained popularity in the early 2000s, when a remix of it was released.

During the second week of the camp, we had the chance to get to know Inna better and we couldn't help but show you what we found out. Take a look!

Carried away by music, the artists got a new musical direction, spontaneously producing a catchy song that we can’t wait to release. Stay tuned!

Nature is our dance floor

That’s why when the party is over, the only footprint left behind has to be a positive one. At Electric Castle, we believe that sustainability shouldn’t be a one-hit wonder but an all-timer. Our efforts are sustained and constant for each edition to be more environmentally friendly.
